Mr. David Miscavige did a presentation called This is Scientology and this has been turned into a DVD. Excerpts of it are also online on the RTC web site and the David Miscavige blog.

The presentation goes into great detail on the social programs of the Scientology religion and its application to helping the individual.

Catherine Bell - Scientologist and Human Rights Activist

Actress Catherine Bell is a very outspoken human rights advocate. She is shown here at the benefit dinner held for the Citizens Commission on Human Rights in Beverly Hills in February this year. She is passionate about defending the rights of children and their parents against psychiatric/pharma incursions into parental oversight of their children's welfare.

No words were spoken during Kim Binford's labor. When she wanted a back massage, she pointed to her back. When it was time to push, the midwife gave the thumbs-up sign.

It was a "quiet birth."

Which meant that nobody spoke during the experience, in line with what Scientologists advocate.
